Job Club
provides a place where a small group of members meet regularly to
share information about job leads, talk about the progress and
issues of looking for employment.
Local business owner and business are invited to present and provide
feedback on recruiting and hiring process.
Our members are assigned by their case manager to attend the group
once week. The following list includes some of activities our Job
Club members will experience.

Sharing information about opening, housing and other
resources
·
Developing strategies for job search.
·
Creating job hunting teams to provide moral support
and save money on transportation.
·
Helping each other fill out job application
·
Practice role-playing to gain skill and confidence in
job interviewing
·
Taking field trips to speak about different kinds of
jobs interviewing
·
Take field trips to workplaces that may be hiring
·
Inviting guest to speak about different kinds of jobs
and possible job opportunities
·
Sharing stories about week’s activities
·
Discussing issues of unemployment such as barriers and
interview experiences.
