The mission of the Educational Opportunity Center is to provide an exceptional learning opportunity for students seeking an alternative education that will maximize student achievement to include demonstrating proficiency on State Exit Exams through a high support environment to enable students to become productive, contributing, and successful citizens.
The school will have 49% of grades 10th through 12th meet or exceeds the AIMS math test. Teachers will use effective instructional formats and be evaluated continuously throughout the teaching experience. Teachers will develop strong relationships with students through providing a high support environment.
The high school primarily serves Yuma County students that are between the ages of 16 and 21seeking to recuperate high school credit at a quicker pace.
