The Computer Training Program is available
for
employers who wish to provide basic computer training for
their employees. The Computer Training Program is
available for a fee for service and can be customized to
meet an employer's needs.
The
computer training provided consist of two major components: computerized
interactive training and hands-on training. The following is
a summary of the six training modules:
Module 1
Internet and Computing Core (IC³)
The Internet and Computing Core is the ideal for anyone that
wants to demonstrate critical computer and Internet skills
valued in today’s academic and professional environments.
Because digital literacy is vital to the success in both of
these endeavors, Module 1 is the perfect for both
traditional and non-traditional students as well as
employees.
Module 2
Microsoft Outlook - Guide for Microsoft Office Specialist:
Microsoft Outlook version 2002
Microsoft Outlook version 2002 is intended for students and
information workers whose responsibilities include the use
of Microsoft Outlook to create and manage messages, tasks,
contacts and appointments, and use Outlook with other Office
applications in organizations of every size.
Module 3
MS Word - Guide for Microsoft Office Specialist:
Microsoft Word 2002 Expert
Microsoft Word version 2002 Expert is intended for students
and information workers, whose responsibilities include the
use of Microsoft Word at the expert level to create, edit
and format documents in organizations of every size.
Module 4
Excel - Guide for Microsoft Office Specialist:
Microsoft Excel version 2002 Expert
Microsoft Excel version 2002 Expert is intended for students
and information workers, whose responsibilities include the
use of Microsoft Excel to create, modify, share and revise
workbooks using templates, automated procedures and the Web,
and retrieve, analyze and summarize data in organizations of
every size.
Module 5
PowerPoint - Guide for Microsoft Office Specialist:
Microsoft PowerPoint version 2002
Microsoft PowerPoint version 2002 is intended for students
and information workers whose responsibilities include the
use of Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations using
automated tools, modify slides, slide masters, and print and
deliver presentations in organizations of every size.
Module 6
Access - Guide for Microsoft Office Specialist:
Microsoft Access version 2002
Microsoft Access version 2002 is intended for students and
information workers, whose responsibilities include the use
