The Yuma Private Industry Council provides Life Skills Workshops for job seekers and customers.

These workshops provide skills that will assist customers to secure and maintain employment. A variety of workshops are offered and include the following:

• Preparing Resumes

• Completing Applications

• Preparing for an Interview

• Dress for Success

• Job Search

• Who am I and Where do I want to Go?

• Starting Over Workshop

• Job Search Assistance and Resume Posting

• Job Retention
   

The Life Skills classes have been designed to assist in learning new job search strategies, career preparation, goal setting, interviewing, resume writing, cover letters, and much more.

Life Skills Schedule:

9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.
