YUMA COUNTY WORKFORCE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT -
PHASE II”
The purpose of this Summit is to align the efforts of local
and state workforce and economic development activities in a
manner that promotes a healthy and prosperous economy for
job seekers, employers and the general public.
As the Workforce Investment
Board for Yuma County, the Yuma Private Industry Council,
Inc (YPIC) has an obligation to keep track of changes in
employment needs in the Yuma area. Some of our
organization’s projects are driven by specific (usually
federal) requirements, and it is YPIC’s practice to leverage
these requirements to broaden our insight into employment
issues and promote a comprehensive perspective on the
workforce.
