The Yuma Private Industry Council is planning a community job fair at the Yuma Civic Center on October, 5, 2011 9:00 am 1:00 pm. Please join us and meet hiring managers and recruiters. News September 9, 2011:  John Morales  Received Exemplary Leadership Award

Congratulations to John Morales, executive director of YPIC, who was recognized as one of the 13 recipients of the Profiles of success awards presented by Valle del Sol, a Phoenix-based social service agency.

By honoring Morales in the category of exemplary leadership, Valle del Sol cited his efforts in workforce development as the director of the Yuma Private Industry Council, his participation in the Arizona Education Commitment, a statewide initiative that seeks to strengthen the education system to bring about economic prosperity, as well as his past service on the Governor's P-20 Education Council. He also was recognized for his work with Valle del Sol in bringing a Latino leadership development program to Yuma County starting this fall. View More >>
